Boris Vasilievich Spassky

the tenth world chess champion ,died February 27,2025 at age 88. Best known for his much publicized match with Bobby Fisher in 1972.
He was a sportsman and a gentleman and had dozens of legitimate reasons too walk out of the Fisher match and no one would have blamed him,but he fought on in a losing cause..he even applauded Fisher after one game.
The world is a little sadder, now
