@SimplyLogicalDiscipline That's... extraordinary. I've probably spent a total of an hour on it and still don't know what to do. All I know about these particularly hard problems they produce is don't waste time trying to put the king in check on the first move--not for the 2-movers at least. Also, the first move is never a capture of anything more valuable than a pawn. However, gambits like sacrificing very valuable pieces right off the bat are often part of the solution!

@SimplyLogicalDiscipline Just not interested in being competitive when you're on the clock, but I do like solving puzzles when you have all the time in the world.
Seriously: probably a total of an hour. What I don't do is probe for moves or ask for hints. I just use the analysis tool until I find the solution myself.
