What was the last video game that had you escape reality?

@EugeneNavy: I think this is do or die for Bioware- and all have known that (in Biopware) for sa long time. meaning that IS ME Andromeda does NOT sell to the expectation of EA-EA will shut the studio down!

Commercially , and in the hearts and memories of a lot of gamers, ME3 was a failure. Namely because of the end. But also because Bioware KNEW this reaction would be as such- It also sent the Bioware team back into the studio, at a cost to EA, to "fix" the ending, thus costing the title more-and decreasing an profit margin.

Bioware MAY dodge this- but as a long time gamer and one who has written about the gaming industry for along time, I do not see it.

EA has shit down far too many loved studios for me to believe they have a heart.
It is a far cry (yes, those are good games) form the company that I remember Trip Hawkins founding in 1979!

I won't play it. BUT, I hope it succeeds.

If only for the reason that Bioware deserves a better fate.

@Elandra77: I agree with you. It's a shame when you see a company have not just games, but works of art and then collapse. ME3 was the beginning but for most (Not all) ME Andromeda was the icing on the cake

I remember what pissed fans even more so for Andromeda's case was when not only did this big patch come later to try and fix it (which to devoted fans, feels like a slap in the face already) as well as when articles showed the team were actually less than the previous mass effect game. Not saying they need a huge team but a more solid one for a more fleshed out game.

I will play this to see because I've heard mixed to negative reviews from friends and the online community. And ill never accept a 7.7 for a mass effect game
