English is my native tongue but if I'm reading a French or German book or magazine it seems to translate itself as I read.

I think maybe 70% of my inner dialogue is in English these days, but before it was around 30% English and the other 70% Korean when I was studying it in language school. I still dream in Korean often, and sometimes I talk to myself in Spanish now that I'm just starting to study it.
thats super coooool omg

@Dewmsberry: Haha it's alright, but I've noticed a huge drop-off on my English since I left university six years ago since I haven't lived in an English-speaking country. I used to also think a bit in French, Tagalog, and Pampango, but I never got super fluent in any of those languages. How about you, do you speak any other languages? :D

Most of the time. Consequences of being ruled by the English and also the tightening grip of globalization and also studying in a school that gave great importance to English

Raised in english... but I have found that the concept of expressing my thought to translate slows me down. Think back to how you "Learned to write".. H is for House... C is for Cat... and so on

I would say 98% of the time.

I usually think in Spanish. I prefer speaking in English, but I talk to myself in Spanish very often... it's weird. 🤔
