(15) The Silent Films -- Fritz Lang

One of my collection's jewels is this sweet package of all of one of silent era's finest director's films from that era, we have in this order:

1. The Spiders
2. Harakiri
3. The Wandering Shadow
4. Four Around the World
5. Destiny
6. Dr. Mabuse the Gambler
7. Die Nibelungen
8. Metropolis
9. Spies
10. Woman in the Moon
11. The Plague of Florence

And as a method of tracking my progress through my focus novel, I shall say in each of these silent film posts in brackets the percentage gotten to at the beginning of using the silent film(s) posted with this manner, the next 100 or so discs will be used to complete 20 books!! Each focus one ergo should be completed in not too long a time, when I get past 50% I shall reveal which novel or book it is.

Sounds fun right? So at the beginning of this amazing set of Fritz, I am at 10%, with some 43 hours of reading time, that might be more like 50hrs at the speed I really read.

and the previous post are the first 2 discs of 100, so with this we get to 14 out of 100!!

There is a movie titled “M” by Fritz Lang that they’ve shown on TMC a couple times and thought it was good.

@cherokeepatti It's his best arguably! That speech close to the end that's amazing and is re-made within the first episode of a Syberberg epic.
