You playing Baldurs gate 3? Thoughts?

I was a very aloof dragonborne Druid
One of my coworkers was also playing and he was playing as a paladin so it would be fun to talk about how differently our characters handled certain plot points

@JRVanguard where did you get stuck? Might be worth playing again. I’m a wood elf rogue. Bought it for my kids, we also discuss our characters all the time. Quite amazing to see how the story line evolves. Sucks me in for hours.

@CrystalSkull I think honestly pretty early on
In act 2 there was an area where everything got stuck in turn based mode and I didn’t like that it was hard for to advance like that

@JRVanguard all the battles are turn based. It takes some getting used to but once you get into it, it allows for strategic fighting.

But there was a section where every aspect of the game was turn based
Like you couldn’t just walk somewhere to explore
You had to individually move all 4 party members separately a limited amount of space at a time
Like you were in combat even when you weren’t

@JRVanguard was it in the shadow cursed lands? If you go in there without a torch the shadow curse gets you. That’s when the whole game does what you mention above. Best to go in with your characters holding torches.
