I forgot the fun of discovering a game together

I’ve been playing this mobile game for a few months. When beta was done, they scrapped the whole app and made a new one with some variations to gameplay. But the basics were the same and everyone who’d been playing the old one grew pretty quickly in the new one. And it’s all routine now. The major teams, top 4, are always winning everything. Everyone knows each other enough to have beef or drama with one another.

For a change, I joined a new server and started playing the game with people who are completely new to it. Their characters are so cute and little. 🥹 And it’s an exciting game again. I didn’t realize that’s part of the fun; the discovery. And sharing in that with other people. They’re all new to me, teams not competing much yet till we all get stronger. So I don’t know how it’ll go yet. That not knowing is nice. 😌
