A good bourbon is worth the price

@sarabee1995 A whiskey virgin ? Straight bourbon is an acquired taste . Certainly not for someone who doesn’t drink . I do like a little Fireball ( cinnamon whiskey ), or spiced rum .

@TexChik I've had, and liked, fruity rum drinks. But no, never had any whiskey, bourbon or otherwise.

@TexChik , @sarabee1995 I love all whiskies, whiskeys, Bourbons and Rye like Canadian Club lol. I have a simple rule: brown spirits drunk straight-up with no ice or mixer; white spirits the opposite: loads of ice and an appropriate mixer lol

@sarabee1995 Rum drinks are very good this time of year. Spiced rum works well in Eggnog and in pound cake ( soaked )

@TexChik Agreed. Spiced rums are my favorite. Usually $60 a bottle. Some can be sipped straight.

@Livingwell we rarely buy any alcohol yet we have so many bottles given to us as gifts .

@TexChik That's awesome. My daughters get me rum from different places every Christmas. Even the Philippines.
