@Lilnonames i just started playing again. Chess app on my phone. I came in second place in an Oregon state championship when I was in 5th grade

I had no idea you were skilled in the game. I was involved heavily in the Cincinnati High School chess scene in the late 70’s. My rating got up to 1784 back in the 80s.

@Pfuzylogic that's awesome. I started playing in third, fourth and fifth grade in elementary school

@Bang5luts I learned when I was 10 years old and started getting serious in tournament play in eighth grade.
