I play a game on my iPad. I've been playing it for awhile and now they're playing commercials.

They didn't used to. It's probably ridiculous but it annoys me. And I power my device down when they play them to avoid watching them.

With some games, you can disconnect your WiFi and cellular data connections to avoid ads. Some games, however, will prevent any in-game progress until a connection is reestablished.

Ow wow but I'm not surprised. I have a similar issue with food blogs and thinking about writing down or screenshotting the recipes so I never have to visit the blog again. s @DoorDog
