Have you ever tried PokeMMO?

I've been playing it a lot as of late, some group found a legal loop apparently to make an MMO comprised of Pokemon Emerald, White/black, firered, and heart gold/soulsilver. Works on mobile and PC.

Requires the rom files for each of the games to be downloaded separately from, anywhere. But that's easy enough to do.

My name on it is Teirdalin if you want to add me by the way.

This isn't Uranium is it? Haven't played that too much. But Snakewood was an experience (not mmo).

@raysam363 Nope, it's literally a massive mod that turned the four games into a single MMO. You can travel to the other regions, and trade and use the global market once you hit the 4th badge; but once you go to a different region your pokemon get sent to your PC and you have to get the badges in that region to be able to use your higher level pokermangz.

It's, kinda insane how much effort they put into this mod. lol

@TeirdalinFirefall Guess I haven't kept up with the roms and mods recently. But yeah, they can do some wild stuff with pokemon with a bit of effort.

@raysam363 I'd highly recommend it, even has moderators and whatnot who help with problems; allegedly, haven't actually asked them anything yet.

Kinda surprised Pokemon Company never tried making something like this themselves considering the game works surprisingly well as an MMORPG.

@TeirdalinFirefall Closest they'll get is the online trading/battling/festival plaza. It's still a primarily single player experience. Plus mods like that mmo bring more attention to the franchise, like free advertising.
