Best character in Smash Ultimate?

@JP1119 Idk if it's just me, but I think Richter is slightly faster than Simon. Because when I play as Richter, I move faster compared to when I play as Simon. Also, Richter has blue fire when he uses holy water and Simon has red fire when using holy water. So they're very similar yet different. Know who I noticed are quite different? Dark Samus is very different from Samus. She is faster, has a different dodge, her attacks have an electric effect to them as opposed to Samus's fiery effect to them, and she just hits way harder than Samus. So I don't even use Samus much anymore, sadly lol. I even kick ass with Dark Samus when I compete in tournaments at Dave & Buster's.

I’ve noticed several other pairs that are very similar: Peach and Daisy, Lucas and Ness, Fox and Falco, Mario and Dr. Mario. I guess it’s hard to make 70 something playable characters that are all really different from each other. @IWasCallingYaLarry

I mean echo fighters are based off of another character but a bit different from them. Dark Samus is an echo fighter of Samus but she is definitely a better Samus than Samus. She's more of a heavy hitter and is a bit floatier. Ness and Lucas both play even similarly in their own series, so makes sense to have them be similar but different. I ead hoping Dark Samus would be a unique fighter and not an echo fighter but whatever. I'm just happy she got in at all because I love the Metroid series a lot.
