Which is better in your opinion? Silent Hill or Resident Evil?

They are both great but Silent Hill was eerie and made you think and scared you without having to do much. Resident Evil doesn’t creep me out but always keeps me anxious when I’m playing but I would give it to Silent Hill but ever since the original creators sold it to another company it’s like the franchise died down and now it create mediocre games😕😬

They are different games. I tried silent hill on the ps1 but I couldn’t get into it with all the backtracking and I wasn’t crazy about Konami’s ideas of monsters.Resident evil was better in that era but the controls were clunky and the game was more linear. The best horror game of that genre was Alone in the dark in my opinion. I lost interest in horror after that.

As the two original PS releases?

Resident Evil. Silent Hill has a better story and atmosphere, but the game play wasn't as nearly as good. It was too much grinding and going blind with not enough direction. It was way toohard for the rewards.

Not nearly as bad as Dino Crisis, but close enough.
