I'm curious to hear about the ones you liked best ^^
I usually start off playing those once in a while, but then I get busy and hardly finish any XD I liked the final fantasy games a lot when I was younger ^^
Sometimes games like that semi-frustrate me though in the line of "why are those my only options? XD"

@kimmy159 Max Payne 2 A New York detective chasing down the members of a secret society, corruption and organized crime, while falling in love with a femme fatale, a hired killer.
Half Life 1&2, Gordon Freeman, MIT graduate in theoretical physics in the middle of the Black Mesa incident that changed the entire word.
Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Relevaltions - The life of a young Florentine noble who's life changed after his family was unjustly killed, he goes on to avenge his family and finish his father's work, to be an Assassin. In those 3 games you watch him from a young kid to an old man.
The Witcher 3 Yet another adventure of the famous Geralt of Rivia killing monsters, sleeping with sorceresses and saving his friends.
Dishonored - Corvo Attano, a bodyguard of an empress who got wrongly accused for her assassination, gets branded by a supernatural being because he was found interesting, works his way with conspirators to clean his name and restore the proper heir to the throne.
Those are my top ones, including GTA Vice City, I am a sucker for the mafia Miami theme.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic You've got quite the list ^^ I know most of the games, often watched other people play it (I'm kind of lazy if given the choice lol)
I like the Assassin's Creed storyline but I'm not very up to date with the more recent ones.
I used to play GTA Vice City hours and hours with my cousin :D Lol, I do have a thing for mafia business too ;p
- totally random - they say you can buy houses on Sicily for like 1 euro 0.O
/ end of randomness.
I liked playing Hitman too although the storyline can be considered less interesting.
Back in the days of Playstation II there was this game called "Way of the Samurai" which I really liked too. You had to *tumtumtum* play as a samurai and determine which side and which people you would help. But I kind of sucked at the game play and always winded up dead because I tried to help everyone, my digital sword skills were also very disappointing lmao

@kimmy159 Oooh! Hitman, forgot Hitman blood money. Not much of a story but it was so fun being a cold hearted killer, just the raw coldness and lack of concern from 47 as he kills anyone who is in his way or an unwilling witness.
I used to frequent computer clubs as a kid, the older kids would tease us when we play Vice City " Hey kid you wanna see something cool? - Ok. "BIGBANG" *dies*"
I don't know about that samurai game, never heard of it.
I like those games with the determined ending, depending on the player's choices. For instance in dishonored if you kill a lot of people you lose sight of your goal and affect the people around you, get a sad or violent ending, compared to if you just stealth trough or eliminate enemies by non lethal means.
I also liked the gang-bangers in GTA San Andreas, all those "families" and hoods
ALSO! Halo series, too bad I only played 1 , the rest I watched online since they were for XBOX. The flood give me the creeps even today.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Hahah exactly :D
I like games like that too where your gameplay decides a lot of the reactions and outcome. Perhaps I should give dishonored a try some time ^^
Somehow I never really got into GTA San Andreas, but I did like GTA V more :D

@kimmy159 Dishonored is cool, you get some sort of witch powers which are very handy for stealth and a cool mark on your hand
