I'd say they are all partially story driven:
FF VII (obviously)
Half Life
Portal
Fallout 3
FF Tactics
WOW (originally)
Assassin's Creed 3
Skyrim
Metal Gear Solid
Eternal Darkness
Bioshock

There are lots I'm not even remembering I'm sure.

@Elegy Metal Gear Solid storyline and it's sequels are all hugely fun but also increasingly bonkers. MGS3 is my favourite so far.

@Elegy Of all the assassin's creed games - 3? Really, come on dude
Elegy · 46-50
@DisilusionedMP3 lol, I don't remember 3 but 1 and two were a lot of fun. The part where Mantis messes with the game is a top ten in player experiences ever. Eternal Darkness had a bit of that too.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic uh yeah, 1 and 2 were shit due to crap AI and broken camera systems. 3 was when it got good including the DLC/partial instalments (we'll call them 3.x). 4 couldn't even hold my attention. Seemed like a cash grab on top of the 3.x bullshit. 🤷‍♂️

@Elegy For me 2, BH and Revelations are among the best. Story wise that is. It's blatantly obvious that later games will have better features and graphics.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic Well yheah it's just logical but I really thought the camera on 2 was just baf.

@Elegy Eternal Darkness was a neat game I don't hear too many people talk about. I don't know if I would necessarily say it's a story driven game though. The sanity mechanic is very interesting and I don't believe it's been replicated in a game ever since, and the audio design is very well made for a 2002 game. Truly unsettling in some areas. Also as a side note the spell sounds are so satisfying lol. [media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhArX1t7Vhs]
