Don't get me wrong, I still have other hobbies and, obviously responsibilities, but in my free time a little open world gaming is my friend.
I just reinstalled FO4 because I hadn't played it since my child was born.

I forgot they added console modding so I'm having a blast replaying and rediscovering and I haven't even started back in on far harbour or nuka world(any mods or out of the way stuff you'd recommend?). Esp since I'm on medical suspension from driving(no IRL adventures for me). I do still play skyrim as well on occasion (mainly romance fuelled quest binges and benevolent assassination).

I just appreciate the world building and good content, sandbox games are even more beloved now that I'm so limited in my broader mobility.

First off Fallout 76 is utter rubbish. I have written so many scathing blogs about that game and Bethesda I am not going to repeat it here. It was an unfinished and unpolished game that was charged a lot for. Lies and deceit then surrounded it and Bethesda continues to act arrogant over it. And it only gets worse as the days go on.... Bethesda is not banning players who write negative reviews of it!! ( I write for a gaming site)

However past that Fallout 4 is seen as the worst they did. I did love it and played it for a long time. However I hate Preston Garvey and I wish I could kill him in game. Or turn him off. The only way around that is to avoid the minuteman missions altogether.

It is essentially simFallout. Minecraft in a Fallout game and many find that boring as they do not want a castle defender kind of game. I do not want to go to some plantation when I am doing something else. And I do not feel like planting crops and then harvesting them. Is this Harvest Moon?

It can be fun but it is not in the vein of Fallout 3 or even New Vegas-which is far better. (and NOT done by Bethesda!)

Skyrim was released 11/11/11. And it STILL being pushed! Damn--talk about overkill. However, of the above it is the best and has a lot of players coming back to it again and again.

The paid mods-Creation Club, is a failure- on Fallout and on Skyrim. It works better on Skyrim. These were to be free- not a charge. When Bethesda introduced monetizing they went to hell. As did every other gaming company that did the same.

But ESO I do LOVE! And I hate PVP. I play PVE.

ES VI was to ship next year of the year after--in the PS5 gen. I do not see it. However I see it as a massive failure.

I am not repeating myself. This is a reprint of my predictions (part 2) that talk of it. It was one of the most viewed pages last week on Word Press with users coming form all over the web to read it.

@Elandra77 everyone knows fallout 76 was and is hot garbage. No argument here.

Fallout 4 has its issues but as a casual player who enjoys games with a teeny bit of upkeep (that can be ignored if you so choose) I liked it. I will agree that first time through I found Preston annoying. Now after so long I've just learned how to tune him out.
I never bought into creation club, just use player created mods as I don't care about earning trophies, and pumping more money into it did not appeal to me.
