What was the first video game you ever played?

The first game I ever played was Pokemon Firered when I was 3 lol. I really didn't get the grasp of playing games until I was 4 though.

The first one I played at an age were I could actually do anything in the game? Without having to use cheat codes. When I was younger I beat many games with cheat codes. Super Mario World for the SNES was the first game I could play legit because I was about six. Mario Cart was not long after this. Than came Super Metroid, Final Fantasy 3 I mean 6 technically.

@SW-User I played that one, only the GBA port. They're pretty much the same though, only the GBA version has slightly more washed out colors and muffled sound.
