So, just playing stranger missions after completing the game...like...it's real sad.
I just started the veteran one, it's one where Arthur Morgan (The main character) finds him dismounted in the middle of the woods, his horse having bucked him and ran off with his false leg...Arthur helps him and he invites him to fish out by his cabin.
Arthur goes, helps him catch this monster fish (That was no sloucher) and rides off.
Now, having completed the game I've been put back in control of John Marston...and I'm doing stranger missions that Arthur never got to.
And John met this guy and he had to tell him about Arthur dying...and they had a little moment where they just chatted about him.
It's good when a game treats a characters death with reverence...especially when it's the main character, someone you've been following all this time and now you kinda feel like you're running around in their shadow...
