Did anyone watch the Nintendo Direct yesterday?

@Stardust519 To be honest, nobody was. Everybody just wanted Simon, but the fact that we got 2 Castlevania characters to represent that series right out of the gate of Dracula's Castle is very much appreciated. I definitely will enjoy playing as both of them. Also I love how the music was completely metalized and now all sounds metal as hell. So badass. That Bloody Tears remix sounds absolutely amazing as well as Vampire Killer. And Seeing as we now have 3 Konami fighters as well as Alucard and Gray Fox as assist trophies and all the other Konami related stuff we are getting, do you know what that means?

@IWasCallingYaLarry I wish Konami would do a Castlevania collection. Now is the time to do it.

@SW-User Exactly! Hey maybe they can do 2 collections. One that has the original NES trilogy, maybe also throw Super Castlevania IV, Rondo Of Blood, and Symphony Of The Night on it. And for collection 2, have the 3 GBA Castlevania games and the 3 DS games. How does that sound?

@IWasCallingYaLarry I want them all! I want to play the rare Genesis and PS2 games. Heck, I even want to play the terrible N64 ones. I don't think they could re-release the DS ones because they used the touch screen.

@SW-User Yeah true. But then again some DS games have made their way to the Switch. I completely forgot, but I think Bloodlines should be on a collection, too. That game is so good.

@IWasCallingYaLarry I never played that one. My goal is to play through every Castlevania game in chronological order.....one day lol.

@SW-User I played through most of the games. I have one of the PS2 games too but never beat it. I never played the crappy N64 games either or have ever owned them. But besides those 4 games and besides the shitty Lord Of Shadows games which I don't even count, I have played mpst of them.

@SW-User Hey fine if you did. But regardless, they don't really count as Castlevania games. They feel more like a clone of like Idk Shadow Of The Colossus or God Of War or something :p . Btw who are the last 3 characters coming to Smash that you wish to see?

@IWasCallingYaLarry Simon and K. Rool were the final two on my wishlist so I don’t mind who they put now. Geno would be cool to see

@SW-User I want Shadow which I guarantee will happen now at this point. And also Viridi and either Skull Kid, Crash, or Sylux. Other than those few, I cannot think of anybody else.

@IWasCallingYaLarry My brother is hoping for Shadow too. I wouldn't mind seeing Ken since he is the original echo fighter lol.

@SW-User true. And seeing as we now have 3 Konami fighters, then there's no excuse why they can't add a second Sonic fighter. And Shadow doesn't even have to be an echo fighter, either. Seeing as how he functions bery differently from Sonic in their games. He has some similarities with Sonic, but for the most part, he is very different. I'm still sad Dark Samus is an echo fighter instead of her own character, because I feel they can do so much much more with her. But I rather would have her as an echo fighter than not have her at all. She's one of my favorite villains ever especially when it comes to Nintendo villains.

@IWasCallingYaLarry Really? Why do you like Dark Samus?

@SW-User she's a creepy, terrifying villain. Especially in Prime 2. And in Prime 3, I how she becomes even more badass and she can clone herself, she corrupts Samus's friends and turns them against her, she steals this supercomputer called an Aurora Unit and makes it evil and she fuses with it in Prime 3 and becomes even more powerful and evil. I am glad now we are getting more villains to play as.

@IWasCallingYaLarry Yes, I'm happy that more villains are being represented . Those Prime games were so good :)

@SW-User I know. One of my most favorite trilogies of all time. I love Metroid. Btw you excited for Prime 4?

@SW-User I was worried too. But think of it this way. Nintendo wouldn't just hand over one of their best franchises to some random joe shmoe company and trust them to make the next game of that series. They must have gotten someone good. And evidence points to it being Bandai Namco which we know are also helping with Smash Ultamite. That would make sense as to why Dark Samus is now in Smash. Furthermore, this all means maybe Dark Samus is gonna come back somehow in Metroid Prime 4.

@SW-User Oh and also don't forget, Bandai Namco also helped develop Smash 4. That's why Pacman was playable.

@SW-User Me too. It only made sense. Even if as the remaining new fighters get announced and Shadow is the only one announced out of the few I would love to have, then I'll still be happy.
