I would love to see an NPC just go "Um...I really don't know, what do I look like? A historian?"

Or it goes the other way, and something that should really be known by everyone is some kind of occult legend that nobody really remembers, even if it ate their uncle last week. Or specific individuals who should be useful are useless.
