Nintendo portable consoles
What do you think is the future for Nintendo's portable consoles after the 2DS XL? Another DS line up? Will the DS line end here and another new line take its place?

They're going to have to up the game if they're going to have a serious chance to survive I think. Maybe a remake of a snes style console with VR capability and equivalent or better specs than ps or xbone. At the moment whilst they are dominating the hand held market the switch is not really a serious contender. It's a shame really, they make some good games at times but the hardware is not competitive at the momemt.

@UnrestrictedHappy Hardware isn't everything. It's the games and innovation that bring people to Nintendo. Yes Nintendo is a big competitor in the gaming industry.
@SW-User not denying they are still a force, I still use my Wii a lot for group gaming, it's fun for parties etc, but I have never really used it for solo play. I personally find it too limited in the areas I play most so it's only logical for me to use a system I prefer. I only reference hardware in as much that they always seem underpowered and graphically dated in comparison. I like Nintendo's spirit though and hope they can stay the distance..
