To block or not to block [I Had Lego Blocks]

I’ve never blocked anyone before. I don’t like the idea of shutting out people or closing off opposing points of view, but I am wondering if it would make my experience here a little more enjoyable. I dislike some of the negative posts that offer no redeeming qualities.
Your thoughts, pros and cons of blocking?

@SW-User I haven’t a clue what they are thinking or what the plan is there, if they think that’s a good ice breaker. I get the impression women suffer a lot of that, and the reason why I never pm first
