To block or not to block [I Had Lego Blocks]

I’ve never blocked anyone before. I don’t like the idea of shutting out people or closing off opposing points of view, but I am wondering if it would make my experience here a little more enjoyable. I dislike some of the negative posts that offer no redeeming qualities.
Your thoughts, pros and cons of blocking?

I block weirdos, creepos, sexos, and freaks.

Common name calling imbeciles foaming at the mouth about irrelevant things I generally send to time out, like an unruly 3rd grader.

@RogueLoner I haven’t seen to much of the former, but I’m not on here that much these days. It would get tiresome though, and why expose yourself to that, pun not intended
