My pic is a DC motor.
Size 140, or "c size" to be exact. These motors are found in toys. Theres appx 60 to 80 windings x 3 of 26 guage enamel coated copper magnet wire around the core. The spindle shaft is 2mm stainless steel lubricated with white lithium grease. Operation is 1.5 to 6 volts. The lower the voltage the longer lifespan. Finding a good balance between rpms and power is good. When they begin to squeak, oil it with household machine oil or lithium grease. The have carbon copper brushes which gives these motors that distinct carbon smell when operating. They can last a lifetime in the right conditions and care.
