What going on with this????????
Why cant the virtual chatter bot hear people say a word like smith and repeat it correctly?
It will say "smythe".
42 trillion trials same mistake.
Heres another example:
My last name is the same as the last name for the exaggerated cow painter John Vine but the bot cant say it correctly when i tell it my last name is exactly the same but with the prefix "La"
It instead repeats the same word "vine" but using the short vowell sound "i" as in "si"...instead of the long sound "i". My last name is Lavine, rhyming with time and mine and fine
But the machine is unable to hear me say my name correctly...while it can always repeat the name John Vine, having the long vowel sound.
When I keep saying its the same word and so please say it without the first name John, but with the prefix "LA"...it literally cant do it. The vowell sound "i" as in LINE automatically becomes the short vowell sound "i" as in "si"
This has nothing to do with english or spanish or any changes in language...it just seems unable to hear and repeat someone when it comes to certain ideas about how a word should be pronounced regardless of a users clear instructions, as in "repeat after me".
10 thousand attempts and no learning.
Who else knows what Im talking about, please dont just guess or snark me out.
So baffling and frankly disturbing.
Can the thing repeat YOUR name the way you said it?
