Time Travel ...

i'm not sure why anyone would voluntarily travel back in time to an era when

1. you don't speak the language
2. modern antiobiotics, painkillers, and anaesthesia weren't invented yet
3. slavery was common
4. picking the wrong religion could get you killed on the spot.
5. people drank whiskey because the water wasn't safe
6. beds were full of lice and spiders
7. oreos hadn't been invented yet.

i thought the 30's but there was the depression. I thought the 40's but there was the war. I was born in the 50's/ 60's was about free love and drugs. Maybe the 20s!
