Favorite sort of time travel rules.
Do you prefer when going back erases stuff, creates a separate branch/deviation, when you can't alter anything because it all fulfills itself in a loop, or some fourth time thing I didn't mention?

It would be pretty traumatic though. Imagine going back and witnessing someone being hung or a doctor bleeding someone? Or seeing all the filth because no sewer system exists yet.
