We saw that coming a long time ago and now it is here.

"Employees are not required to get the microchips, and Westby told the station there is no GPS tracking."

Yet.

@hlpflwthat i saw that. i think most will go for it. I think soon enough we will do all our shopping with microchips . (If we choose to) its like credit cards people like it or dont like it.

Not all of us. I like my credit card fine. But I can leave it at home - or never use it. I would not implant myself(or my kids) with something I could not program(or un-program).

@hlpflwthat Yes...that is very reassuring, yes?

"Not that anyone would ever use GPS for anything other than finding unicorns or rescuing senior citizens."

@hlpflwthat What? You suspicious of someone telling you "Hey - this will REALLY BE GOOD FOR YOU - trust us!"
hlpflwthat · M
"Yes very, very ... very ... good. For all of you. And refusing to be chipped is just sad. So sad."

@hlpflwthat "Yeah...cause you know if you don't there are plenty of people who would like to have your job who will "cooperate"....

"Really? Well...because of our policy against date rate and sexual crime at this university we need everyone to comply...I mean if we know where you are then you can never be falsely accused, so you see its for your own good! If you don't...well our instructors must set a good example, so I am afraid..."

"Well..ALL our pre-schoolers are chipped so we can better look after them...it would be a pity little Jane wouldn't be able to be with us if you can't agree..."
