Do you have radioactivity in your neighborhood?

Likely not. Not nuclear anyway. We're close enough to the reactor for a spill to get us, but so far so good.

Between our home wi-fi, the 5G cell towers, hydro pylons, etc and my microwave, I'm sure we're getting EMF radiation.
Theres always the chance the basement is giving off Radon gas...though it's never been tested. It would be off the wallboard.

@perceptivei Drywall produced in certain countries, uncertified, is made of mined radioactive gypsum, other sources include sheetrock or concrete. A high content of granite in the soil is another major source.
