What's something you tried really hard to enjoy just to connect with someone, but you actually despised it?

Oh my gosh, so much.
Kickboxing, monopoly, marijuana, plenty of video games (wow, among us, fortnight, factorio, and many more), plenty of tv shows and movies, Pokémon cards and games, skateboards and skateboard designing, disc golf, horseback riding. I feel like I could go on and on.

Lying. In this period of my/our life I'm thankful that I didn't do it for long. Is never worth it

Role playing. I suck at it. Also tried to get into Phish for someone but can’t. Don’t hate them but it’s not my thing.

I don't do these things. 😅 I don't push myself to enjoy stuff that rubs me the wrong way. I might give something a chance but if I see it doesn't work, I'm out right away.

Any kind of social event where you're just talking with random people and that's the whole event.
I don't mind socializing with a group of people in person, but it has to be part of doing something. That can even just be listening to the live music, if there is any. Or watching something.
