I Hate Putting People Into Neat Boxes...

But, my friends come from all over the place!

I have friends, and acquittances, that work in bars, friends that are nurses, that are physiotherapists, that work in retail and also a nun friend!

Kinda neat, but I just see them as people...not just what they do.

I knew a woman that worked at a catholic church but was a prostitute on the side. Apparently the church does not pay a living wage.

From the viewpoint of one who is now outside of the workforce jobs are just our choice of enslavement. Yes, they provide us the means to pay for things but gold watches are very expensive. Our lives are measured in time, what we do for each other, and what we see. Best to minimize what interferes with that unless it accentuates it.

@Tastyfrzz Agreed.

Evelyn, the nun, is just a nun. Lovely caring lady.

Our existence, I feel - god, Flic is going all D & M (deep and meaningful) - should be measured in how we interact with each other, what we do for each other and how we value each other. Status and legacy are just ego-driven BS. Just as art, legacy is in the eyes of others, so we shouldn't bother our tiny little minds with such nonsense.
