Do you find that the people you are interested in are not often interested in return?

I don’t mean when you think someone is cute, but rather you’re more deeply attracted to them as a person.

I find myself deeply liking people as I get to know them, all kinds, I have zero “type” or expectations. Yet they never see me the same way. Generally people don’t bother to get to know me, so it’s nothing I get upset over, and being friend zoned doesn’t hurt, I’m happy to have people in my life that I like. However whenever I’m really into someone, they always back off. Even online where you can get to know people without even seeing their faces.

I wonder what is wrong? What I need to improve to be likeable enough for someone to spend time getting to know me too?
