I don’t want negativity in my life, and if I see what I don’t want to see, I can either ignore, mute, or block. That doesn’t mean another person should kowtow to my desires or needs, but I suspect this is someone very special to you, or you wouldn’t be bending over backwards to please her. @Montanaman

@Carissimi No, not really close, but i just enjoyed her posts, and balk at myself for me being a reason to block. I don't very often offend anyone. My politics should always be easy to take a back seat to other's opinions. I mean, we all believe that we're on the right side of humanity. So my voice will be easier, my post's positive and supportive of other's.

Okay, but my politics are synonymous with my values, and I’m not subjugating my values to please strangers online. That’s giving up who you are, but I digress. It’s your life, and your decision. @Montanaman I wanted to add one more thing. I'm a gun guy. I always have been. Lately, however, I've either sold or gave my guns to my dad to be locked up. I've been having serious mental health problems, and I've been a suicide risk. It shocks people to know that I'm a Democrat and also love guns. In a way, maybe I can see why she got upset. Look, I don't think blocking you was right. She should've talked to you about it. But maybe she has a friend or someone who killed themselves, or maybe she struggles with suicidal thoughts. I hope she gives you the chance to talk it out. If it turns out to be a case like I listed above, I would understand cutting back on those posts. I would do it for a friend under those circumstances.
