And saying hello to a neighbour/ friend/ social media member when they respond once to your 5 greetings or dump them?

I'm way more responsive in physical life than online. For example I may never respond to an online message but I'd always respond to someone actually talking to me in life.
It's tricky but if they don't respond, there comes a moment where I stop addressing them..
