Women, are you picky about what to talk about with whom?

I noticed a female friend talk not only with friends but also random people getting to know them. But when it comes to certain personal topics, she's indeed aware of who is around and would listen. Now when a close friend of hers said goodbye for the night, he told me that she'd stay for a while and still talk to that other guy who isn't around as often. Others know me for not talking much, and once when I was around her and this friend who left early the other day, she said that she liked being around friends even without talking much because it wouldn't feel weird to just say nothing for a while (this was when some friends had left already).

Now I had stayed as well, sometimes participating in the conversation, while sticking to my phone. She had opened up about personal stuff and it was nice to see she was comfortable. Do you think she actually cares about who's around when talking about personal stuff?
