I Know True Friendship Is Priceless

I have to admit, I've never felt so lucky and blessed in my entire life. You go through stages during your teenage life thinking that the people around you are going to be your friend only to realise that once you leave school they are no where to be seen. I have one true friend who has stuck with me for almost 10 years now alongside a few other people who, especially over the past few weeks, have really proven that there are people out there who genuinely care. I'm not talking about friends who have helped you through work or a "shopping disaster" of some sort. I'm talking about friends who have saved you from someone who is supposed to love you. Friends who have actually outright said "the way your partner is being with you isn't normal" and have opened my eyes and taught me that I'm important too. Friends who have said to each other that they are worried about me for going back and giving it a second chance when everyone but me knew the individual wouldn't change.

I'm so grateful to have those people in my life, the one's who have proven to me above anyone else that they care which I guess is a completely new concept to me. I'll always appreciate it more than they'll ever know ❤
