Hold me with your words
Wrap me in your thoughts
Sing for me the sonnets
That your heart and soul have wrought

Paint for me a picture
Enchanted; I shall be
And inside the beauty of you
Pure poetry I’ll see

Line my page in librettos
Leave a limerick if you like
The words you leave still whispering
In the middle of my night

Discourse and discussion
A script, a text, a verse
A rhyme in time that truly shines
Throughout my universe.
