When you were a kid, did people pretend to be your friend so they could make fun of you, gossip about you, and bully you?

I can’t count how many fake “friends” I had growing up and how many sleepovers I was invited to just to be the object of their torment.

I learned to start kicking ass and to stop trusting people lol

It was hard to make friends after that.

Didn't have that many friends to matter. Think I went to one sleep over. And my father invited one friend of mine to a a nice hotel in LA once. And that's all I recall.

A good number of friends, in elementary school, went to the same junior high, that I did. Yet I just didn't see them that much, with electives, clubs and certain sports.

High school was a mess friend wise, going to three different highschools, in three different counties.

That last likely messed me up socially.
