When you were a kid, did people pretend to be your friend so they could make fun of you, gossip about you, and bully you?

I can’t count how many fake “friends” I had growing up and how many sleepovers I was invited to just to be the object of their torment.

I learned to start kicking ass and to stop trusting people lol

It was hard to make friends after that.

Oh I just had a flashback of art class 2009.

Oh my heart

I had a friend who belittle me, told lies about me and about my family (mind you he would come over) very toxic- toxic masculinity before that was a common term.

He went to far one day. I had to wear my hoodie, because i was choked up, yes, chocked up! My throat was tight, my lip quivered and cried, probably like one tear. I was hurt.

He had the nerve to get a ruler 📏 to my face while my head was down just to confirm that was indeed crying. What a bastard!

Even the art teacher was chuckling- don’t get started on her.

But yea, that was the fakest friend I ever had. Freshmen year was nightmarish.

However, I ended up making friends with the artsy types, the nerds, goths, a collection of different folks
