I thought it was illegal to travel to Cuba

@HumanEarth I think that’s just for Americans. Canadians go there all the time.

I remember now. We have almost the same language accent. Remember when we were talking to @GunFinger about our accents and I posted on my Yooper (Wisconsin/Michigan) accent

@HumanEarth There was a brief time when it was legal again for Americans to visit, but Trump (in spite of his connection with Russia) put the kibosh on any relationship with Cuba.

Damn, I missed out
I wonder if there's a way for me to go to visit when I fully retire from working.

@HumanEarth You will a valid US passport. The airline, or travel agency/web site, will procure an entry visa. On the way back, all you have to do is say that you traveled in "Support for the Cuban People". That will keep Little Marco Rubio happy.
As in you did not use any Cuban government services. You also need cash, because your credit cards will not work in Cuba.
One way to get there, is travel to Mexico or Canada, and then connect, because direct flights between the US and Cuba are not allowed.
