@BillyMackWe are advoiding any sugars, and added sugars are in everything,so this means lots of from scratch cooking.🙂
We (3 of my daughters are doing this with me) were smart though. We made a light cabbage hamber soup ( tomatoe juice, carrots, onions, garlic, celery, cabbage and lean hamburger and seasonings), so we don't have to cook for a couple. This soup also helps with the electrolyte loss associated with this process. 🙂 We have been through this enough times to know that day 2-5 can be yucky.🤒
We were sugar( or any other sweetener) free for 3 years, except for a day here and there for cheating. No more than 3 a year, but I saw this thing called The Suagr Diet...LMBO... I thought," Hey lets try that!" Completely forgetting I got off sugar for other reason besides weight loss. 😯
The Suagr Diet promised weight loss, and I did lose a few pounds, but it was so not worth it.Looking back on this now, I can really see how incredibly stupid I was, but my addicted brain pounced on that idea with all the force I could muster. Now we are all paying the price..😵💫
That dumb junky thinking is what led to this 2 weeks plus a day or two lapse, and now having to go through the withdrawal process all over agin..Ughhh. I certainly hope I have finally learned my lesson..🫤
Thank you, so much, for your encouragement. It means so much to me and to my daughters. We really appericate it. 🙂
@onrealityofdreamsOh, my dear friend, your kindness means so much to me. The gentle words you use with me are so healing to my soul. I miss you when you are away from here and I am always so happy to see your posts when you come back.🤗
@SJones48Thank you so much for saying this. I needed to hear that.especially this morning. The first day off sugar is always the easiest. Today, I feel like I was run over by a semi-truck and back over again..Ughhhh🤒
