**edit: I suppose my saga spans more than just a few months….I didn’t mean to mislead. The ‘few months’ part covers the selling of my home and the moving to a new home part.
(At the risk of coming off as dramatic) I’ve experienced the death of a relationship…death of a sibling…death of an era….but here I am. Still kicking. And enjoying the warmth from a fire, in the middle of January, in my new home which I’ve made more than comfortable.
I can’t complain. Happy new year (if a bit belated) to you all.

@Bexsy thank you. I’m trying to make it lovely. You ought to see the basement!!! Complete with a retro (original!!) 1970s bar with tufted vinyl and smoky glass!!! Hahaha Terrific.! And I have wood fireplaces downstairs and up. I can’t complain
