I think that depends on one's perspective. I believe we get out of it what we put into it, and that we can find a million things to be thankful for. God created the world and declared it "very good". The fundamental structure and design of the world are inherently good, reflecting God's character and amazing, beautiful, creative power.
The Bible encourages believers to appreciate and enjoy the world as a gift from God, recognizing His hand in its beauty and provision. God created everything perfect and without sin, in the beginning, but man made the choice to sin. And while sin has introduced brokenness and suffering, the Bible also assures believers that God works all things for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). This means that even in difficult circumstances, there is hope for experiencing God's goodness and ultimately experiencing pure joy in eternity.
God created humans with a need for relationships, and the world provides the context for families, communities, and friendships, all of which can be sources of joy and support.
