Time heals all wounds.

This was a good two days off and back to work today. I'm slowly getting myself together. I miss her and still can't believe that she's gone. I'm doing my best to be sociable on here and find friends to chat with now and then. I had a pen pal back in the day before the internet.

I do have to, respectfully of course, disagree that time heals all wounds. Time may fade the memory of how much it hurts but if, in a moment of your guard being down a stray memory runs through your mind every ounce of that pain comes back in an instant. Thats how it is for me anyway.

@Deceased Yes there will always be a scar after the healing. This is still fresh for me so I don't know how long this awful feeling will last. I've been told that 20 years down the road it will come back and hit you.
