Can I Hide The List Of People Online?

I noticed I now see the list of people online. I have no business knowing who's online and who isn't. Is it possible to hide It?

I can see 10 people online.. Not including myself.. IS that the total of people online? or can you expand the list to see more if there are more?

@SomeMichGuy I can still see only 10 and i cannot see a button for more... Maybe because i am on a computer not an Iphone..
