I Believe That Internet Friends Are Real

When I first met him on EP a few years ago, I didn’t know what our friendship would bring. He was a newly divorced single father trying to adjust to the single parent lifestyle. I had a story posted about parenting on EP and he sent me a message. And so our friendship began. Fast forward several years later and I know that I have a trustworthy and loyal friend that always has my back even though he's 1,000 miles away.

Eventhough, I was stupid over the last few months and lost contact with him he was there today when I needed him. One message and we are right back on track. Whether I need to rant, ask advice or just need a shoulder to cry on, he is always willing to be there for me. It doesn't matter what it is, he is always there to help me through it and I am the same for him. I appreciate our friendship. I know that I can talk to him about anything and he's always willing to listen or even offer to fly out if I need him. I am so thankful we were able to catch up today. I didn't realize how much I truly missed having him in my life.
