I Believe That Internet Friends Are Real
I do believe internet friends are real. I have several a few whom I have never even heard their voice. I like these friends because I can openly discuss topics with them that I would not discuss with the friends I have for face to face contact.
I don't consider my face to face friends to be any less because I won't discuss certain things with them as those are my own fears. Fears that I will deal with "ridicule" when the fact is I probably wouldn't by those I am closest to. (Very few in number) The topics that I choose not to discuss are just not that I important to me to bring them into open awareness of my everyday life friends.
It is enjoyable to have friends of both types as now I find the possibility of enjoying many new topics of discussion to be nearly limitless.
