I Have Online Friends

There are so many people that discredit the meaning of online friends or are embarrassed by being on a site talking to others. I am sure I am not the only one that feels as though being online and finding friends online has dragged me out of a dark hole many times.

For some people coming onto a site is an outlet, a way of stabilising and balancing themselves. I also know that for many people, nobody in their 'outside' world is even aware of the people they talk to online everyday, or the friends they have.. even though they probably know the person a lot better than many others in their 'outside' world.

So I wanted to take a moment to say I am so thankful that I came online and found such amazing people that I can now call friends, I feel so blessed. You have supported me through some crazy, and testing times in life, as well as laughing with me in the good times.. and I hope I can always be that same support for you. I will always be thankful, my amazing online friends 💞💫💥

Online people I find tend to come into my life and have a dramatic effect. I tend to put a lot of effort into them, they often pose trying situations and my mind races through possible actions and outcomes until I find one that works. Those people grant me escape, and a chance to use my mind for something worthwhile - and actually test me at full speed - I am proficient in this act, whereas in other aspects of my life I must hesitate all the time because I don't know something, or I'm not well trained. So, progress there is slow. But in the lives of others, I am free to explore and be myself outside of myself. Now I'm trying to reign in, to be myself within myself, and see what wonders might jump out at me from the world I live in...

@DreamCoCreators your writing style reminded me very much of a close friends actually which was nice. I can relate to online people offering you a source of escape.. almost an alternative world as I too find comfort in this. It fits dreamers very well 🤗
