~ If You're In My Life ~

“I don’t surround myself with people who are constantly positive, always smiling to mask the bullshit life they actually have. I prefer people who are real, honest and raw. I don’t want anyone who walks on eggshells around me. If your day sucks, I want to hear about why it sucks so I can help make it better. If you’re not really happy, don’t fake a smile on my behalf. I’d rather you spill your guts with tears every day, until your smile is real because I don’t care about the show, the disguise, the political correctness. [c=008099]If you’re in my life, I want you to be in your own skin.[/c]”

It is not easy to get friends who want you in your true skin. Most want what is convenient for them to handle. If you get a friend who really cares, hold fast and hold on. And give back what you get. Thats the true bliss of friendship.

@WandererTony Indeed, so true! For me, I take people's feelings seriously and that's why I appreciate my little circle so much. I try being kind to all, but when it comes to sincere friendship, I'm a 4 quarters vs a hundred pennies type of person. I invest to the furthest and best of my abilities into those select inviduals as they do me. As you said, you give what you get ect. I have always been a fan of authenticity, even if it's the authentic person you can't be beyond these virtual walls. I mean, we're humans, not robots, so we all have feelings and inadequacies. Take sensitivity for example, some may deem it as a weakness or something to hide, but I find it to be the sign of a good heart.

Btw; I'm known for writing infinite paragraphs. In case you didn't notice. 🤔🤭
