I think often about the jingling keys and the footsteps from a Charley Donlea book, The Girl Who Was Taken.

In the end, it is all about the journey. Spaghetti against the wall? Lots of it stuck along the way but I was just too busy doing other stuff to pay it much attention.
I like your description better than Thoreau's ~ "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to their graves with the song still in them".

Never able to sort the left hand right hand thing on piano.
But to translate to guitar. 🤔 Yes I do,I'm an analytical player in some senses. I used to have a t-shirt. On the front, “Dazed and Confused.” On the back, “I don’t know where we’ve been, but it’s been a lovely afternoon.”
